Royal Academy of Engineering
I am Co-PI of £100K Royal Academy of Engineering funding in partnership with KCL and five South African universities. I hosted a delegation from South Africa at Warwick and conducted 4 capacity-building workshops designed to empower academic staff and administrators through interactive sessions on industry-led education
Improving Access and Participation to Engineering Research
I am project investigator (PI) for this £50K funded project which provides increased opportunities for female students to experience research projects, and also offers a programme of inspirational guest lectures with speakers from underrepresented backgrounds.
Lord Bhattacharyya Engineering Education Programme (LBEEP)
The UK’s engineering skills gap hampers productivity, costing £63bn annually. LBEEP is a five-year outreach initiative, funded by the Royal Academy of Engineering and the Lord Bhattacharyya Family Trust. I was awarded £100k to supervise a PhD student who can analyse barriers faced by students to access engineering which includes perceptions of young people, their parents/carers; attitudes towards engineering; under-representation of specific groups; employer engagement and facilities.
Youth Support Programme
I am PI for the Youth Support Programme which offered a comprehensive skills development programme for local unemployed youth community aspiring to acquire professional jobs. This programme comprises of three streams: i.e. Transferrable skills, Digital literacy skills and Global citizenship skills where I led the development of Digital literacy strand.
Educational Leadership in the Context of Massive Technology Integration: A Comparative Case Study of HE in the UAE and UK
I co-led a project of worth £15k with the British University in Dubai in-depth interviews with 30 senior leaders across both the UAE and UK were conducted, gathering valuable insights that have informed progressive teaching practices and accelerated the adoption of transformative technological solutions. This work has contributed significantly to shaping global dialogues on technology-enhanced education.

Virtual Reality Project
I led the project ‘Impact of Virtual Reality on pedagogical developments’ where VR application was developed to deliver the concepts related to solar panels that could only be possible to understand by conducting traditional laboratory experiments otherwise.
British Council Project
I have co-led a British Council funded project of worth £54k with Kings College London and three Universities in Pakistan to educate the faculty members about pedagogical techniques that can foster authentic learning such as project-based learning, problem based learning etc.
GenAI in Education
I am co-leading a British Council-funded project of worth £25K on “GenAI in Education” alongside the amazing Awotwe Tabbi Wilberforce and Rafia Mumtaz. This initiative will explore how generative AI can shape the future of learning, teaching, and innovation in education.
Monash Warwick Machine Learning Bootcamp
I was awarded £13000 as PI during my PhD studies through which I led the Monash Warwick machine learning bootcamp project which offered 5 days long training programme to undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD students. For more info
