BSc in Digital and Technology Solutions (Course Designer):
Developed in collaboration with employers in the engineering sector, this degree apprenticeship programme covers a range of topics including software programming, business operations, system analysis, data analytics and network infrastructure.
MSc in Digital and Technology Solutions (Course Director):
This course offers an advancement opportunity for both experienced employees and new graduates to obtain a challenging and exciting Master’s degree that is delivered by experts from both WMG and the Department of Computer Science at the University of Warwick. The Degree Apprenticeship is designed to develop employees who can identify and lead technological strategic solutions in a range of digital and technology related specialist roles
Figures released through the Government’s Explore Education Statistics show that The Level 7 Digital and Technology Solutions Specialist programme thrived with a 100% achievement, retention and pass rate.
British Computer Society Accreditation
I led the British Computer Society(BCS) accreditation process for five degree programmes in WMG where 84 modules across 5 courses successfully met BCS’s stringent criteria without any additional remedial requirements-setting a new benchmark for departmental accreditation excellence. Leading Digital Education Strategy
I led the development of Digital Education Strategy at WMG which will prepare staff and students to tackle the challenges in the era of digital transformation. The focus areas of strategy have been identified having consultations with Industry partners
The consultations informed the development of 21 strategic aims, structured around four core pillars. Ethical approval was obtained to conduct both the alumni survey and staff consultation session. The strategy is approved and launched in June 2025.

Doctoral Students
Supervised three doctoral students to date.
- My first PhD student graduated in Jan 2023 who worked with Automation Systems Research Group and created novel pedagogy methods for teaching Industry 4.0 technologies. Elena has been appointed as a Professor in University of Furtwangen, Germany after PhD completion.
- My second PhD student has analysed the learner journey from school to college with an aim is to find a holistic solution around those facets that can help to attract young people to engineering. He has also passed his PhD defense in Nov 25.
- A third PhD student began their research in 2024
